Romantic Gardens, Stunning Lake Views, and Dreamy Light for Your Bridal Portraits

Why the Dallas Arboretum is a Dream Location for Dallas Bridal Portraits
When Haylee mentioned she was considering the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens as a possible location, I was instantly on board. Spanning 66 acres of seasonal blooms, manicured pathways, and sweeping lake views, it’s one of my favorite spots to photograph brides at their most radiant in the Dallas area.
From the romantic Rose Garden to the whimsical Woman’s Garden, and the dramatic stone staircases overlooking
White Rock Lake, the Arboretum offers endless fairytale-worthy backdrops. Each corner of the garden provides unique opportunities to highlight the intricate details of your gown and the soft elegance of your bridal style.
The Magic of Light: Timing Your Bridal Session
Light here is everything. Morning and golden hour cast a soft, dreamy glow—perfect for flattering portraits that celebrate both you and your dress.
Pro tip: For a more intimate experience, consider booking a weekday morning session during select seasons. Fewer crowds, softer light, and the right timing make a huge difference. Permits are required, and a changing room is highly recommended.
A Moment to Cherish: Your Bridal Portrait Experience
Bridal portraits are more than just photos—they’re a quiet, joyful celebration of this special moment before “I do.” When you book your bridal session with me, I guide you through the process from start to finish, making sure you feel like royalty every step of the way.
There’s no better place to capture a magical session of Dallas bridal portraits than at the Dallas Arboretum.
