FAQ'S

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

CLARITY IN EVERY DETAIL

Preparation is part of the craft.

Thoughtful planning allows the experience to feel effortless. The questions below reflect the level of care and structure I bring to every wedding and portrait session, so you can approach your celebration with assurance.

Weddings

A. How do you approach a wedding day?

Q. I photograph weddings with a balance of structure and observation. The day is guided by a thoughtful timeline, but I remain attentive to unscripted moments as they unfold. My goal is to document the event without over-directing it.

A. How many images do we receive?

A. Most wedding galleries include 500-800 fully edited images, depending on coverage length and event structure. Each image is selected and refined to reflect the day accurately and cohesively.

Q. What is your turnaround time?

A. Wedding galleries are delivered within 4-6 weeks. A few select images are typically shared withing 2-3 days, with a small preview gallery within the week. That way, you can share previews with family and friends.

Q. Do you work with a second photographer?

A. For larger weddings or complex timelines, a second photographer is recommended and arranged in advance. This ensures comprehensive coverage without compromise. I have wedding packages and destination packages that include a second photographer.

Bridals

Q. How far in advance should bridal portraits be scheduled?

A. Most bridal sessions take place 4–8 weeks before the wedding to allow time for selection and optional artwork.

Q. Can we use an indoor location?

A. Absolutely. Architectural interiors often create refined, timeless imagery and are selected intentionally based on available light. Nature is beautiful too of course.

Q. How long does a session typically last?

A. Bridal sessions typically last about 2-3 hours, allowing time for relaxed pacing and wardrobe adjustments if needed.

Q. Will you help with posing?

A. Yes. Direction is subtle and structured to maintain natural posture and movement without appearing stiff or overly styled.

Engagements

Q. What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?

A. Most couples do initially. Gentle direction and natural movement help ease that tension quickly, allowing interaction to feel authentic rather than posed.

Q. Can we bring our dog or incorporate a meaningful place?

A. Yes. Personal elements can add depth to the session, provided the environment supports cohesive imagery.

Q. When will we receive our images?

A. After our selection appointment, engagement galleries are typically delivered within 2-3 weeks.

Q. How many outfit changes are allowed?

A. Two outfits are recommended to maintain flow while offering variety.

Destination Weddings

Q. How do travel logistics work?

A. Travel arrangements are included in my destination packages. I typically arrive at least one day early to ensure preparedness.

Q. What happens if a flight is delayed?

A. Buffer time is built into travel schedules to minimize risk. Contingency plans are discussed in advance for added reassurance.

Q. Do you scout locations ahead of time?

A. Yes. Very much. Upon arrival, I walk the venue and surrounding areas to evaluate lighting and environmental details.

Q. Is multi-day coverage required?

A. Not required, but often recommended. Destination weddings frequently include additional gatherings that enrich the overall story.

Elopements

Q. How is an elopement different from a traditional wedding?

A. Elopements are typically more intimate and flexible. The pacing allows for greater emphasis on environment and personal interaction, often with fewer formalities.

Q. Can you help us choose a location?

A. Yes. I provide guidance based on lighting, accessibility, privacy, and aesthetic preference to ensure the setting supports your vision.

Q. How much coverage do we need?

A. Elopements vary widely. I have packages that will provide any coverage necessary and is based on factors such as travel, preparation, ceremony, and portrait time.

Q. What if weather conditions change?

Flexibility is part of the planning process. I prepare for environmental variables and adjust calmly if conditions shift.
