I grew up in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas, where curiosity and hard work were part of daily life. I learned patience in my grandfather’s pastures, steadiness from a father who taught and preached with conviction, and compassion from a mother who cared for people with intention.
Those lessons shaped more than my character. They shaped my approach.
Calm isn’t accidental. It’s built.
Through preparation. Through experience. Through faith.
Over the years, photography has taken me around the world and placed me in front of both celebration and hardship. Standing behind a lens has taught me how to read a room, when to guide, and when to step back. It’s taught me that presence matters.
